Community Tax Aid has an opening for seasonal employees at the community-based Volunteer Income Tax Assistance tax preparation program for low and moderate-income taxpayers at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G Street NW.

Greeter/Site Assistant: MLK Library VITA Site
The position will run from late January until late April 2010.
Greeters are needed Mondays and Tuesdays 3:45-9:00, Thursdays 12:45-5:30, Saturdays 9:15-5:30 and Sundays 12:45-5:00.

The Greeter/Site Assistant is responsible for opening a tax site, greeting and orienting clients, overseeing the client sign-in sheet, and assisting clients with the completion of the intake paperwork. For the full job description, click here.
