Annually, over 500 volunteers donate their time and expertise to CTA clinics located in libraries, churches, and community centers in Washington, D.C.; Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland; and the City of Alexandria, and Arlington and County in Virginia. During the 2011 filing season, CTA volunteers served over 5,700 taxpayers generating $8.1 million in federal refunds and state refunds including nearly $3.45 million in federal Earned Income Tax Credits.
