Annually, over 500 volunteers donate their time and expertise to CTA clinics located in libraries, churches, and community centers in Washington, D.C.; Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland; and the City of Alexandria, and Arlington and County in Virginia. During the 2010 filing season, CTA volunteers helped 5,000 low-income individuals and families, helping them to receive over $7.4 million in federal and state tax refunds.
